Oh, who was featured in one of the issue’s six covers, is known for her role as Cristina Yang in a popular medical drama series “Grey’s Anatomy,” and as Eve Polastri in drama television series “Killing Eve.”

The Time article, written by Shonda Rhimes, described Oh as a “virtuoso” who “treats dialogue like notes of music.”

“She’s always been an extraordinary actor. Her body of work makes that clear,” Rhimes wrote.

“Her comic timing is priceless. Her dramatic well is endless. Her talent is a song to be heard. With her nuanced characters, Sandra Oh has chosen to fearlessly take up space in a universe that has not always made space for her,” she added.

Dwayne Johnson, who also made it on the one of the covers, was described as “full of heart and creates an environment on set filled with warmth and positivity,” by actress Gal Gadot.

“He is the true embodiment of the idea that people may forget what you said, people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. Dwayne always makes sure people feel their best when he is around,” Gadot wrote.

Games of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke also landed a spot on the list.

Emma Thompson described Clarke as a “woman of mickle might, whose instincts, whetted by years of hard work in environments that were not always safe or healthy, are as finely honed as any I’ve encountered.”

“She has the courage of a small lion, the stamina of a Welsh pit pony and the soul of a clown. A powerhouse to watch and an ally to die for,” Thompson wrote.

Captain Marvel star Brie Larson, who was described as a “warrior on-and offscreen” was also included in the Time’s 100 list.

Tessa Thompson, who wrote Larson’s blurb, said that the actress fights “fiercely for gender equality, inclusivity and an end to sexual harassment in the workplace.”

“Brie is primed to be one of Marvel’s next big leaders at a time when women are breaking ceilings in all spaces,” Thompson wrote.

“She is in a position to make real systemic change in Hollywood,” she added.

Among other actors and actresses included in the list is Regina King, Glenn Close, Chrissy Teigen, Mahershala Ali, Richard Madden, Spike Lee, and Rami Malek. /cbb
