Matteo Guidicelli: Lights, camera, Army reservist

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-Italian actor and model Matteo Guidicelli has joined the Philippine Army.
Guidicelli, alongside Ivan Carapeit and Luis Ruiz took their oath Monday as reservists of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at the Army Reserve Command (Arescom) headquarters in Tanza, Cavite.
“I officially joined the Philippine ARMY today because I love my country,” Guidicelli said in an Instagram post.
“I would like to thank the people that have been very supportive. Exciting times ahead,” he added.
Arescom said in a statement the three will soon be undergoing training in order to prepare them in the event of natural disasters and national emergencies.
Prior to taking his oath as an Army reservist, Guidicelli took his oath as a member of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary alongside Erwan Heussaff and Nico Bolzico. /gsg
