Kapuso host Pauleen Luna mourned the death of her dog Simon, who recently passed away when she was in the United States with her husband Vic Sotto and daughter Talitha.
The “Eat Bulaga” host took to Instagram on Saturday, April 13 to pay a tribute to her 13-year-old chihuahua when she learned the news of his passing.
Luna shared black-and-white photos of her and Simon, saying, “For 13 years, you gave me and my family unconditional love. You really had to pass while we’re away.”
“[I] guess you knew [I] wouldn’t be able to handle it if [I were] there… Thank you, Simon. You will forever be my first. I love you,” she added.
Friends Ryan Agoncillo, Jolina Magdangal, Carla Abellana and Taki Saito offered their condolences to the actress.
Meanwhile, life goes on for the television host as she is a hands-on mother to one-year-old Talitha, her firstborn with Vic Sotto, whose moments were shared in her Instagram account.
In 2016, Luna also lost her dog Lizzie and said that she cried for three days in an Instagram post dedicated to her husband Vic Sotto, who cheered her up when she was grieving.
“People who know me well know that this is a big deal for me because I do not treat my dogs as pets but as family,” she said in the 2016 post. NVG
