JC de Vera penned a heartwarming birthday message to daughter Lana Athena, who turned a year old on Friday.
“Happy Birthday Anak,” the actor wrote in an Instagram post, attaching a photo of Lana enjoying her cake.
“Ikaw ang nagdadala ng saya at swerte sa amin ng Mommy mo,” he added. ” We are so grateful and thankful kay Lord dahil binigay ka nya sa amin.”
(You bring happiness and luck to me and your mommy. We are so grateful and thankful to the Lord for giving you to us.)
De Vera also wished his daughter would grow as a loving and kind person with a genuine heart.
“Stay positive my Love, continue to inspire people with your beautiful smile,” he said. “Continue to be a blessing to everyone around you. We love you so much.”
Some netizens wished his little girl a happy birthday too, among them Alessandra de Rossi and Angeline Quinto. Meanwhile, Marvin Agustin gushed about Lana being cute in the photo.

The actor, who prefers to keep his personal life low-key, did not announce on social media that he was a father. It was in May 2018 that his manager, Leo Dominguez, confirmed the news to the media.
Months later, De Vera decided to share his life as a dad when he shared photos of Lana’s christening. /ra
