MANILA, Philippines — Comedian and television host Arnell Ignacio reached a milestone and graduated from college at age 55.
Ignacio shared photos from his graduation rites via his Facebook account on Thursday.
“Finally at 55,” he captioned one of his photos. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, specializing in local government administration.
He also thanked a dean from the University of Makati saying, “Maraming salamat sa walang humpay na tiyaga sa aking ke gulo gulong sked dean.”
“Last graduation ko 1981 high school. Ang tagal ko nag college. 2019 ang graduation. This is truly a masteral of life,” Ignacio said.
In February 2019, Ignacio resigned from his post as Deputy Executive Director V of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA). /muf
