Megastar Sharon Cuneta is currently shooting scenes in Baguio City for “Kuwaresma.”

The horror film is Cuneta’s first project with director Erik Matti under Reality Entertainment, and she is in good company as she stars along with actor John Arcilla.

The seasoned actress definitely has not slowed down, as she shared to her fans that they have been shooting the “most draining” scenes of the film nonstop.

“No time for a nap. And will continue on until we finish even after the sun comes up, I think,” Cuneta said via Instagram on April 9.

But even a megastar like Cuneta gets exhausted too, as she added, “ I am sooooooooooooooo tired. Plus – I am burdened with lots of things on my mind… my emotions are in the I.C.U. as I type this. Whatta life. But whatta movie.”

Cuneta recently just got back from her month-long US-Canada tour last April 2 and only had a few days of rest before going on to shoot scenes for “Kuwaresma.”

She, however, eventually had the chance to rest and was able to retreat back to her hotel to sleep, as per another post made today, April 10.

“Thank God ako pack-up na muna! Magang maga na my eyes sa kakaiyak ng 1,000,000 times sa isang araw (Thank God I was packed up for now! My eyes are so swollen after crying a million times in one day)!” she shared. “But as tired as I am, makatulog sana agad sa hotel (I hope I fall asleep immediately in the hotel).”

Meanwhile, Matti took to his own Instagram account where he posted pictures of behind-the-scenes moments from the shooting. He also shared just how challenging his shoots are, saying they put a lot of hard work into their production.

“Not too many actors in the industry like the kind of hard work we pour into our shoots in particular,” said Matti on April 9. “I steer clear of actors who upon arriving on the set immediately asks what time the shoot finishes.”

He added he does not like actors who do not care about the story and are only concerned about the commercial success of the film.

“I love actors who go out of their way to get the work needed for the scene and make sure we nail it down… I love actors who care about the work we do, period.”

He also tagged Cuneta and Arcilla in his post, among others, and thanked them for their respect and for believing that his films are worth telling.

“Thank you for marching on with me on all the gruelling bloody shoots we had,” the sentimental Matti said. “I love you all!”
