Cheer factor: Jose, Wally wow ’em
Even Manny Pacquiao had a hard time scoring tickets to “The Jose and Wally Show! Party for Every Juan!” As early as four days before the big night, they were sold out. Organizers had to squeeze in seats for those who wanted to catch the first major concert of “Eat Bulaga” cohosts Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Friday.
The comic duo promised a spectacle and they delivered—even going topless for their opening number. These unlikely hunks bravely shared the stage with “It” girl Solenn Heussaff.
Other showstoppers were: Wally’s dance-off with Gary Valenciano; Jose’s pas de deux with Paolo Ballesteros in drag; and Ai Ai de las Alas’ mash-up of Lady Gaga/Madonna songs.
