While their “Game of Thrones” characters are staunch enemies, there is no rivalry between actresses Lena Headey and Emilia Clarke, who play powerful queens Cersei and Daenerys, respectively.
After Clarke’s revelation that she survived aneurysms in the early years of “GoT,” Headey expressed her support for her costar on Instagram.
“It took me a while to know this woman (there are 64,000 of us after all),” quipped Headey in the caption of Clarke’s head shot. “Not until she spoke to me about her experience did I fully realize the warrior she truly is … she does great things for causes that deserve them. She’s kind and determined and funny and aware.”
Clarke responded, “Lena, you bloody hero! Thank you. From one warrior to another, I salute and love you!”

The two English actresses are involved in various advocacies, using their fame to bring attention to worthy causes. Headey actively supports efforts to aid asylum seekers, while Clarke helped develop a charity, SameYou, for stroke and brain injury patients.
