WATCH: Zachary Levi unleashes James Corden’s inner Shazam

James Corden wanted to be a superhero, and Zachary Levi helped him unleash it—sort of.

The television host became “Shazam” in a comical parody of the new DC superhero film, as seen in a “Late Late Show with James Corden” segment aired Wednesday night.

In the video, Levi gave Corden access, the same way how he got his superpowers in the movie. However, it turned out that Corden was not as extraordinary as he thought he would be.

Both tried to find ways to unleash Corden’s superpowers, such as ripping a script in half and trying to run fast—with both attempts ending up as a failure.

Corden did possess a superpower—one that made him grow a goatee. Upon his discovery, Corden was left disappointed.

Toward the end, Corden managed to save the day with his unlikely power when a thief tried to run off with someone’s bag, which was later revealed to be a hoax planned by Levi. Despite this, Corden concluded his superhero name will be “Speed Goat,” and discovers he can hear conversations from afar.

Levi stars in “Shazam!”, which is currently running in local theaters.  /ra
