How Gretchen and Claudine reconciled after years of feud
MANILA, Philippines — It all started with a simple hug.
This is how siblings Gretchen and Claudine Barretto reconciled after not being in good terms for years, as shared in an Instagram livestream on Wednesday.

“Paano kayo nagkabati? Hindi kami magkabati. Sino nagsabing magkabati kami?” Gretchen said, in jest. “Bilang nakakabata akong kapatid, so humingi na ako ng tawad. ’Sorry ate, sorry.’ Sinampal nanaman ako.”
“Paano ba kami nagkabati? I don’t even know. Wala, nagkita lang kami and then we hugged each other, then ‘yun na ‘yun, the rest is history,” Gretchen said.
Gretchen then asked, “You always knew you were gonna forgive me right?” to which Claudine jokingly replied, “No.”
Over the past weeks, the two have been frequently spotted in each others’ social media postings.

Both sisters were known to have icy relations since 2013 because Gretchen sided with Raymart Santiago’s allegations on Claudine’s use of drugs.
Their other siblings, Mito, Joaquin, Michelle and Marjorie, also took Raymart’s side while, Claudine’s sister Gia, alongside their parents Mike and Inday, backed up the actress. /muf
