Six years after their split, the Jonas Brothers—Nick, Kevin and Joe—reunited this year, much to the excitement of their fans who have been yearning to see them perform together again.
The three brothers were so terribly missed by their supporters that their comeback single, “Sucker,” became their first-ever song to reach the No. 1 spot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“This is unbelievable. My heart is so full of gratitude. There was a time I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to be able to make music with my brothers again, let alone have a No. 1 song on the Hot 100 chart,” Nick wrote on Instagram.
Kevin couldn’t find the right words to express his feelings. “I don’t even know what to say at this point. Thank you so much for all the love for ‘Sucker,’ for the continued support,” he said.
“We’re No. 1, this is crazy. I can’t believe it. You guys are amazing. I just want to punch and kick something,” Joe jested.
Meanwhile, Nick assured the band’s fans that this isn’t just a one-off thing. “You guys are the best fans in the world, and we wouldn’t be anywhere without your endless love and support. This is going to be an unforgettable ride. Get ready,” he said. —ALLAN POLICARPIO
