LOOK: Anne Curtis fangirls in Quebec sites of K-drama ‘Goblin’

Anne Curtis has made no secret of her love for Korean dramas, most especially her adoration for Korean star Gong Yoo.

It was not much of a surprise at all then that she took advantage of her “AnneKulit” concert tour in Canada with a visit to Quebec, where parts of K-Drama “Goblin” were filmed.

In the series which ran from December 2016 to January 2017, Gong Yoo played a god, Kim Shin, who seeks a human bride so he can die.

The “It’s Showtime” host is so invested in the show that she even used the hashtag #JiAnnetak, a play on words of her name and that of the female protagonist Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-Eun).

The actress first visited the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, a 126-year-old hotel featured in the show. Curtis chose to share a picture of her hand touching an antique mailbox which was part of the series’ plot, as seen in her Instagram post on Thursday, March 14.

She also used a red scarf and a maroon sweater, Ji Eun-tak’s trademark look in the show, while posing on a hill with the Château Frontenac in the background.

The fashionable star wore a brown trench coat in a picture beside the iconic red door in the Petit-Champlain district, as seen in a Friday, March 15 Instagram post. While the door leads into a theater, it is used as a magical portal in the show.

Her latest visit was to the La Boutique de Noël, a Christmas decoration store where Kim Shin and Ji Eun-tak shared a kiss.

Curtis imagined that she was kissing someone as she posed outside the store and called out to husband Erwan Heussaff to be her “Kim Shin prop”.

Heussaff, already used to his wife’s fangirling antics, replied, “I’m pretty sure you’re not talking about me my love! I miss you.”

Curtis is performing her Toronto show today, March 17 (March 16 in Toronto) and will end her tour tomorrow in Winnipeg. JB
