Amell, Gustin talk about the end of ‘Arrow’

“Arrow” star Stephen Amell recently announced the impending conclusion of his successful DC Comics series on Twitter.

“Playing Oliver Queen has been the greatest professional experience of my life. But you can’t be a vigilante forever,” he tweeted.

“‘Arrow will return for a final run of 10 episodes this fall. There’s so much to say … for now, I just want to say thank you,” he added.

Originally a guest in “Arrow,” Gustin eventually continued to star in his own spinoff series, which annually crossed over with other “Arrowverse” shows.

“I will never forget [oh, so] many memories we shared together during our hundreds, if not thousands of hours of crossover filming,” said Gustin.

“Thank you to everyone who was a part of making ‘Arrow,’ for letting me come on this journey with you all. Congratulations on a badass show that will live on forever,” he said.

In an Instagram post, Amell said of his show, which began in 2012, “It’s been one hell of a run. I promise we’ll finish the way we started.”—OLIVER PULUMBARIT
