“Rated K” host Korina Sanchez flipped over a new leaf when she welcomed her twins Pepe and Pilar last month, and it is clear she is loving every second of motherhood—sleepless nights, feeding, burping and diaper changing and all.
Sanchez recently took to social media to celebrate the twins’ first month, complete with two cakes in pink and blue.
“I never thought I’d be one of them. You know. Mothers who celebrate everything about their kids,” Sanchez confessed via Instagram on March 13. “Well… hahahaha!”
Sanchez marked the twins’ first month with a quiet and small celebration.
“I’d like to greet my two heavenly blessings, my very own personal miracles Pepe and Pilar a happy, happy 1st monthsary!” she said. “Kami kami lang, birthday celebration kami dito…”
Despite the minimal fanfare, Sanchez made sure the twins donned “birthday” outfits on their special day. They also had pizza, balloons and one visitor for the occasion. It appears that Sanchez and the twins are still in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
“May cake, may pizza, may balloons, may isang bisita and shempre, may birthday outfit,” said the amused Sanchez. “Hehehehehe! [I] love you Pepe and Pilar!”
The twins’ arrival came almost 10 years after Sanchez and Roxas’ wedding in October 2009. It was revealed by DZMM host Pat Daza in February that the couple opted for gestational surrogacy to conceive Pepe and Pilar.
