Jung is also suspected of sharing sex videos and photographs in other chat rooms.

On Monday, a local news outlet reported that Jung had shared illegally filmed sex videos with acquaintances on a number of occasions beginning at the end of 2015. The singer is also alleged to have shared detailed descriptions of a sexual encounter between him and a woman through a mobile messenger service, and to have shared videos. Jung allegedly victimized about 10 women in a similar manner over a period of 10 months. The police plan to question Jung in the near future and to concentrate on how the videos were filmed and shared.

As for Seungri, he is under investigation on suspicion of providing prostitutes to potential business partners.

The allegations came to light following an assault case at the club Burning Sun in southern Seoul, of which Seungri was an executive.

The investigation into the assault case, in which the alleged victim claimed that he was assaulted by club security as well as police officers bribed by the club, revealed mobile messages implying that sexual services were provided to potential investors.

Seungri has been banned from leaving the country, and the police plan to question the singer again as a suspect in the case.
