Marjorie Barretto pens loving message to departed aunt
MANILA, Philippines — Marjorie Barretto on Wednesday penned a loving message to her departed aunt, “Naning.”
In an Instagram post, Barretto thanked her aunt for taking care of her since birth and for loving her and her siblings.
“My Naning…God’s greatest gift to our family. Thank you for taking care of me since birth, for loving me and my siblings,” Barretto wrote.

Barretto noted how her aunt stayed with their family and helped her parents raise them.
“She never got married, never had children of her own, stayed with our family and helped Mom and Dad raise us all,” she said.
The actress wished her aunt peace in the afterlife.
“May God welcome you in his loving arms. We will never be the same without you. Rest in peace Nan. My heart is broken but happy your peaceful now,” she said. /ee
