“Banana Sundae” host Sunshine Garcia and actor Alex Castro tied the knot Saturday, March 2 at the Manila Cathedral.
Garcia glowed in a white lace beaded mermaid gown accented with a cape, by designer Patricia Santos.

The reception was held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila in Pasay, which was decked with mirrors, lights and pink flowers, setting a romantic mood.
Celebrity guests included Angelica Panganiban, John Prats, Pooh and other members of the “Banana Sundae” cast.
The SexBomb dancers reunited for the occasion, with former members such as Mia Pangyarihan, Jopay Paguia-Zamora, Johlan Veluz, Sandy Tolentino, Che-Che Tolentino and Louise Bolton gracing the occasion.
The reception included performances from the newlyweds, such as a duet to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri—even if the bride was hesitant to sing her part.
Another performance was a choreographed dance number; this time, Garcia was more than confident with her flawless moves.
The couple has been dating since 2015. Castro proposed in 2017 and the two had their first child last September. JB
