Pinoy shadow artist gets coveted Golden Buzzer in ‘AGT’

A Filipino shadow artist will go straight to the semifinals of this season’s “Asia’s Got Talent” after its hosts, Alan Wong and Justin Bratton, pressed the Golden Buzzer for him during the Feb. 22 episode of the reality talent search on AXN.
The 20-year-old hand shadow artist, who calls himself Shadow Ace, was overwhelmed with joy as the hosts joined him onstage. This means that Shadow Ace is now eligible to compete for the $100,000 grand prize and win the title.
“He’s brilliant and amazing!” said Alan, as he and Justin ran to the judges’ table and pressed the Golden Buzzer.
“Shadow Ace … just to say that you play with your hands and make figures like that. But I’ll let you know, I forget they were hands. They were people to me,” said David Foster, who is one of the tilt’s three judges.

“I really love that performance,” judge Anggun added. The third judge is Korean singer-songwriter Jay Park.
Growing up in a neighborhood with constant blackout, Shadow Ace said he entertained himself with candlelights, which became a passionate hobby.
