Actress Shaira Diaz, who has played an array of lovestruck and lovelorn characters, is currently single. She loves listening to love songs, whether it’s the so-called Love Month or not, counting among her favorites Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” and Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years.”
Shaira hasn’t experienced real heartbreak yet, she admits to the Inquirer. To the erstwhile “Pamilya Roces” actress, romantic relationships aren’t things to be trifled with.
“Relationships are very precious and delicate to me, because I’m the type of person who still sticks to the traditional ways,” says Shaira. “I really value love and I honor respect, loyalty and trust.”
The actress, who will be part of the new show “Love You Two” in April, says that unfortunately, some people her age don’t value such things. “I’ve observed that courting and dating nowadays can be very easy and careless [to some],” Shaira says. “It saddens me, because you do not rush love. True love is worth the wait.”—OLIVER PULUMBARIT
