MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-American actor Darren Criss wore a barong tagalog designed by Francis Libiran for his wedding in New Orleans.
In an Instagram post, Libiran posted a photo of Criss wearing the traditional Filipino attire while dancing with his mother, Cerina, at his wedding.
“On Vogue (@vogue) (@voguemagazine): Hollywood star Darren Criss (@darrencriss) honored his Filipino heritage by wearing a traditional Barong Tagalog on his extravagant wedding exclusively designed for him by Francis Libiran,” Libiran wrote in his caption on Friday night.
Criss married his longtime girlfriend, Mia Swier, on Saturday, Feb. 16, in a New Orleans hotel.
