LOOK: Michelle Obama shares text from mom on Grammy Awards night

MANILA, Philippines — Former United States (US) First Lady shared to the public her conversation with her mother about her experience at the Grammy Awards.

In photos posted on Instagram showing the text messages, Obama’s mother asked her daughter what she did at the Grammys last Feb. 10.

“I guess you were a hit at the Grammys,” her mom wrote.

“Did you meet any of the real stars or did you run right after you were done,” Obama’s mom asked.

Obama told her mom that she was “a real star” but she brushed her off.

“When your mom doesn’t think you’re a “real” celebrity…,” Obama posted.

The former first lady made a surprise appearance onstage with Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and Jennifer Lopez. She used her time on stage to stress the significance of music in our lives. /ee
