MANILA, Philippines — The chef who sent lewd private messages to actress Sunshine Cruz has been fired from his work.
“We just finished the meeting between our manager and the agency, and Lorence Guardian admitted that he was the one who sent the messages,” read a screenshot of a message sent by the restaurant to Cruz. The actress shared the message via her Instagram on Wednesday.
“On our end, we have also formalized all the termination documents and he is completely out of Epilogue,” the message added.
This came after Cruz called out a chef named Lorence Anthony D. Guardian in a previous Instagram post after he sent inappropriate messages to the actress.
Guardian’s messages read, “Fantasising (sic) about your daughter, kissing her back while touching her” and “Sarap mo pagjakulan.”

Guardian initially claimed his Instagram account was hacked, but Cruz refused to believe this supposed alibi.
Cruz thanked the restaurant for its action, saying “Thank you for the swift action regarding this alarming matter.”
“May this serve as a reminder that women especially minors should be protected and respected,” she added. /muf
