Sunshine Cruz gets apology from workplace of rude chef
MANILA, Philippines — The workplace of a chef who sent Sunshine Cruz lewd private messages has apologized to the actress and promised to look into the matter.
“We apologize to everyone, and especially you and your family, affected by the offensive post on Instagram,” read a screenshot of a message sent by the restaurant to Cruz. The actress shared the message on Instagram on Tuesday.
The restaurant said they would ask the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for assistance on the matter.
“We are horrified that you and your daughters were subjected to such repugnant conduct. We will inform Mr. Guardian’s employer about these messages to help them resolve this issue properly,” the message read.
“We will also write the NBI a letter to seek their assistance,” it added.
This was after Cruz called out a chef named Lorence Anthony D. Guardian for sending her messages on Instagram that read, “Fantasising about your daughter, kissing her back while touching her” and “Sarap mo pagjakulan.”
Guardian claimed on a Facebook post that his Instagram account was hacked, but Cruz was unconvinced of the supposed alibi.
The restaurant further assured, “We will also coordinate with the appropriate government agencies to help them get to the bottom of this issue.”
Actress Karla Estrada commented on Cruz’s post and said, “Ayan! Kaya dapat mag isip muna bago mangbastos kahit sa social media para di ka mapa NBI” while Aiko Melendez said, “Good for him.” /cbb
