After eight years with ABS-CBN’s talent management arm, Star Magic, Matteo Guidicelli has decided to sign up with Viva Artists Agency, which also handles the career of his girlfriend, Sarah Geronimo.
“She’s a big part of my moving here; this big change, leap,” he said at his recent contract signing at Viva’s head office. “It’s the best decision for each other, especially since we’re growing together, getting old together … She’s very supportive.”
Asked if fans can finally expect to see him and Sarah in a project together, Matteo, who will be a Viva talent for the next five years, said: “Let’s tell our managers! We will see, we will see. I hope!”
Changing management wasn’t an easy decision, he said, but one that’s “important to myself as an individual.” “Of course I remain thankful to Star Magic for all the effort, love and support. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am now.”—ALLAN POLICARPIO
