KC Concepcion, French BF relish pristine Palawan — and help out some baby turtles

KC Concepcion and boyfriend Pierre Emmanuel Plassart flew to Palawan recently for a much-needed vacation. Concepcion asked tips for long distance relationships from her fans in the beginning of January, sharing then that although it may not be the easiest, it is good to know she and Plassart are not alone.
As Plassart arrived in the Philippines recently, the two did not waste time and booked a trip to San Vicente, Palawan to bond and revel in its sights.
Concepcion took to Instagram to share some scenes from their trip, such as a photo of the beautiful sunset last Friday, Feb. 8.
“San Vicente,” she said. “Para kang isang panaginip.” (You are like a dream.)

Plassart, meanwhile, took to his own Instagram account on Feb. 9 where he shared a photo of the beach’s clear waters.
“The #Philippines has some of the best beaches I’ve seen in this world,” he said.

The couple had some fun under the sun and Concepcion could not help but tease her boyfriend who seemed unable to handle the heat.
“When the sun is too hot to handle for the Europeans in the group who are still defrosting from the snow…” she teased, sharing a photo of Plassart covered in a red scarf.

They also spotted some newly hatched baby turtles making their way into the sea. Concepcion shared some clips of her cheering a little turtle on as she helped clear the sand out of its way. As per her post, they helped release 58 baby turtles.
“No trip to Palawan is ever complete without spotting sea turtles, or ‘pawikans’ in the sea,” she said. “Sea turtles are an endangered species and they belong back in the beautiful sea.”

She also did not miss out on taking some pictures with the young locals of San Vicente.

A moment of reflection while at the beach was definitely in order, as Concepcion shared to her fans that despite the glamor of celebrity life, nothing beats mother nature.
“Behind the glitz and glam, nothing beats the feeling of going back to Nature,” she said. “The high you get when you take care of Mother Earth, enhancing the health and beauty of everything in it… There’s nothing like it.” JB
