LOOK: Michael V pays tribute to Pepe Smith with a portrait

MANILA, Philippines — Comedian Michael V paid tribute to the late rock icon Pepe Smith by drawing his portrait through a 15-minute sketch.

Michael V, also known as Bitoy, posted his artwork of the Pinoy rock pioneer via Instagram on Tuesday.

In the same post, he also shared a time lapse of his sketch with Smith’s “Mighty Great Big-Hearted Love” playing on the background.

“Naka-trabaho ko s’ya several times. Always admired his worry free attitude. It would be a dishonor not to give this gentleman the rock & roll tribute he deserves,” Bitoy wrote in the caption.

Smith passed away last January 28, 2019 at the age of 71.
