Sarah Geronimo wows with performance after Pope’s Mass in UAE

MANILA, Philippines — Popstar Sarah Geronimo wowed the crowd in Abu Dhabi with her performance after Pope Francis led a historic Mass in the Arabian Peninsula on Tuesday.

Geronimo performed the songs “The Prayer,” “Rise up,” “Heal The World,” and her own piece “Forever’s Not Enough” among others.

Many fans took to social media to share clips of the singer’s performance as they expressed their excitement.

One netizen even shared a message uttered by Geronimo on stage.

“Where there is hatred, let us sow love. Where there is offence, kahit mahirap po, let us forgive. Let us be a part to heal the world,” the netizen tweeted quoting the singer.

Geronimo’s boyfriend, actor Matteo Guidicelli, also voiced out how proud he was of his girlfriend.

“My love is the best!!!!!!!!” he wrote.

Aside from Geronimo’s angelic voice, her outfits — which were pieces designed by Dubai-based Filipino designer Furne One —also stunned the audience.

In a short clip on Twitter shared by Josh Yugen, editor-in-chief of luxury fashion magazine XPEDITION Middle East Magazine based in Dubai, Geronimo can be seen donning a stunning all-white jumpsuit with a delicate cape.

She also stunned in a light blue gown a-line gown during her performance. /je
