In an Instagram post, it could be seen that the 26-year-old stunner was having a bite of “tuyo” or dried herring which she said is also her hometown favorite in Vietnam.

Niê, said one “tuyo” is enough for her to finish one bowl of rice.

“This is ‘Cá Khô’, my hometown food and also ‘Tuyo’ in the Philippines. My favorite!! I can consume a whole bowl of rice with one of this fish ,” she said.

In a separate post, Niê was seen having a reunion with fellow beauty queen Venus Raj.

Both Raj and Niê trained under Santos for their respective pageants. Raj competed in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant in 2010 and landed 4th runner up.

“Miss Universe sisters in Terno ‍♀️ 🇻🇳🇵🇭 I’m so happy to see you, my sis @onlyvenusraj #Philippines #Vietnam #MissUniverse #Sisters ️,” she said in a post.

Aside from the yellow Filipiniana dress that she wore, Niê also posted a picture of her flaunting a modern Filipiniana gown while holding an umbrella as an accessory.

“OMG I love this dress, this is the traditional costume of the North of Phillipines, the Filipino Hispanic dress, and it’s gorgeous right? How do I look with it?,” she asked her more than 394,000 followers in Instagram.

The Vietnamese beauty queen finished in the Top 5 of the Miss Universe 2018 pageant last December where   Catriona Gray won the crown while representing the Philippines. /muf
