Teen actor Chandler Riggs’ abrupt exit from the hit horror show, “The Walking Dead,” was a surprise to many viewers. But being let go from the show had a considerable impact on Riggs himself.
Changing direction, the actor pursued creating electronic music last year, took the DJ moniker “Eclipse” and released a couple of singles.
But he’s not done with acting yet.
On Twitter, Riggs recently wrote, “Four days ago, I was almost unemployed for a full year. Right now, I’m sitting on the set of Season One of an incredible TV show for my first day of work. Life changes drastically really quickly.”
The 19-year-old actor, who started acting in “The Walking Dead” when he was 10, later posted, “Super excited to announce that I’ll be joining [’A Million Little Things’] for a couple of episodes (and maybe more?). The cast and crew are incredible, and I absolutely love the series. I encourage everyone to check it out.”
“A Million Little Things” is an ABC family drama that stars Ron Livingston (“Sex and the City”), Grace Park (“Hawaii Five-O”) and David Giuntoli (“Grimm”). —OLIVER PULUMBARIT
