WATCH: IV of Spades releases ‘Bawat Kaluluwa’ music video

MANILA, Philippines — Local funk-rock band IV of Spades has started their 2019 strong, releasing a new music video for their song “Bawat Kaluluwa.”

The trio dropped the music video on Sunday, two days after surprising their fans with their debut album “CLAPCLAPCLAP!”

The music video’s release immediately garnered attention from netizens, garnering over 2,700 re-tweets and 9,000 likes on Twitter as well as over 106,000 views on Youtube, as of this writing.

“Bawat Kaluluwa” is featured in the 15-track debut album that also includes their singles “Bata, Dahan-Dahan!,” “In My Prison,” and “Take That Man.”

Prior to releasing the album, IV of Spades opened for American rock group Panic! At The Disco during its concert in Manila billed as “Pray for the Wicked” in October 2018.

The homegrown band also performed in November 2018 at the Clockenflap Festival in Hong Kong and shared the stage with international acts like Interpol, David Byrne, Khalid, and Wolf Alice.

IV of Spades consisting of Blaster Silonga, Zild Benitez and Badjao De Castro is also known for songs “Mundo,” “Ilaw sa Daan” and “Hey Barbara.” /kga
