MANILA, Philippines – American singer-songwriter and actor Josh Groban gushed over Lea Salonga who is set to join him in his Manila concert on February 22.
“From the Philippines to Broadway, @MsLeaSalonga is a wonder, and I couldn’t be happier that she will be my special guest in Manila,” Groban wrote in a tweet on Wednesday.

The Grammy-nominated singer’s inclusion in the concert billed as “Bridges Tour Live in Manila” at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena was announced earlier this week by concert promoter Ovation Productions.
The upcoming concert is part of Groban’s world tour to promote his latest album “Bridges” released last September 2018 which features his singles ‘River,’ ‘Granted’ and ‘Symphony.’
Groban last performed for his Filipino fans in 2007 in the “Awake Tour in Manila.”
The 35-year-old singer is known for his global hits ‘You Raise Me Up,’ ‘She’s Out of My Life,’ ‘All I Ask,’ and ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water,” among others. /gsg
