WATCH: Cassy, Mavy Legaspi awed with love from parents, friends in debut
Cassy and Mavy Legaspi shone throughout their joint 18th birthday bash, and it was not just because of the bright lights and gold details in their Oscar-themed party.

The twins partied in style and with the stars last Jan. 12 in Makati events venue One Canvas, and a video of the best parts of the night is now up care of Nice Print Photo Company.
Highlighted is the close bond the family has with one another and the deep love mom Carmina Villarroel has for her children.
Villarroel held back tears as she delivered her dedication to them.
“Giving birth to both of you was the happiest day of my life. Having you is one of my greatest blessings,” she told them. “I couldn’t ask for anything more. I pray that you would continue to grow up to also be a blessing to others.”
She praised her daughter’s humility and simplicity.
“I appreciate you being so sensitive to the feelings of the people around you, being the selfless person that you are,” she said. “Even if you want something, you are conscious of the amount that will be spent on you.”
She also recited the famous passage from the book “Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch.
Meanwhile, dad Zoren Legaspi gave some practical and important advice, especially to son Mavy.
“You guys have a long way to go about discovering life. You know, 18 doesn’t mean you guys are tough, you guys are adults,” he said. “The number 18 only indicates that you are legally [allowed] to drive and drink liquor by human law… but being 18 is still very young.”
He warned Mavy, “Wag kang masyadong maporma (Don’t be so cocky), Maverick, a. ‘Eighteen na ako man, yo, I’m eighteen! I’m a real guy!’”
“No, you’re not! You’re still a baby!” the father stressed.
The twins gushed at the well-attended event and were emotional in addressing the crowd, to the point that Mavy became teary-eyed, to his own sister’s surprise.
“‘Wow!’ That was my initial reaction when I saw all of you guys. I actually teared up when I entered there,” he said, before thanking everyone for going to their party. JB
