Iza: Mom didn’t die of cancer

“I just don’t want people thinking I’m misinforming them,” said actress Iza Calzado in clarifying the cause of her mother’s death.
Iza phoned Inquirer Entertainment on Wednesday to correct an info in our article on her wedding to Ben Wintle last December, wherein this writer wrote that both her parents died of cancer.

The actress pointed out that while her mom, Mary Ann Ussher, did pass away in 2001, this was not because of cancer.
