MANILA, Philippines — “Here I go.”
Razorback drummer Brian Velasco was live on Facebook as he leaped to his death Wednesday morning.
In his livestream, Velasco was uttering a largely inaudible message.
Before he jumped off a building, he said: “Pakialagaan niyo na lang si Pochito. Here we go. Here I go.”
The video has since been taken down.
Music promoter Dudee Alfonso told the Inquirer that Velasco even took time to say goodbye to his friends in a group chat page.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD) Homicide Section, Velasco’s body was found lifeless on the safety canopy of the ground floor driveway of a condominium in Malate, Manila at 9:45 a.m.
Investigators said he allegedly fell from the 34th-floor roof deck of the building.
His body was brought to the Paz Funeral Homes in Parañaque City.
The Inquirer was still looking for details about the incident.
