Jessy Mendiola had a special man in her life fly miles just to be reunited with her.
The Kapamilya actress wrapped her arms around her father, Roger Tawile, as seen in her Instagram post Monday, Jan. 14. Tawile flew from Bahrain, where he currently resides, to be with Mendiola who is currently in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
“My king flew all the way from Bahrain just to see me,” Mendiola said of the happy moment.

Fans expressed happiness for the actress. Meanwhile, one going by the handle @keahwolf888 got curious about her father’s nationality.
Mendiola replied to the netizen, saying he is “pure Lebanese.”

Another netizen, @fedoratheexplora09, commented that Mendiola is “half-Lebanese and half-British,” but the actress was quick to correct that she has no British blood.

Mendiola and her father first reunited in 2014 after 14 years. “No words can explain how much I missed my Papa,” she said in her Instagram post that time to mark the reunion. “When he saw me he just hugged me so tight, I couldn’t breathe.” JB
