MANILA, Philippines — Action star Jackie Chan’s new film “The Knight of Shadows: Between Yin and Yang” is set to premiere in Philippine cinemas on Feb. 6, 2019.

The film will be released by ABS-CBN Films’ Star Cinema in line with the celebration of the Chinese New Year on February 5.

Helmed by filmmaker Jia Lu, also known as Vash, the film tells the story of Songling (Chan), a demon hunter defending humanity from an inhuman invasion.
Vash rose to prominence for his works in the 2010 film “Batman: Under The Red Hood” with its visual effects and the 2014 3D film “Bugs” as director.
Joining Chan in the cast of “The Knight of Shadows: Between Yin and Yang” are Elaine Zhong, Lin Peng and Ethan Juan. /muf
