Rick Price, the Australian musician most popularly known in the Philippines for the hit soft-rock ballad “Heaven Knows,” will headline a concert series in the country, as part of his coming Valentine season tour, according to local promoter Wilbros Live.
The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will hold court this Feb. 13 at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu City; Feb. 14 at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City; and Feb. 15 at the New Frontier Theater. (Call 9115555 for the Manila show; 4702222 for Cebu and Davao.)
Rick, who’s also behind other fan favorites like “Nothing Can Stop Us Now,” “Not a Day Goes By,” “Walk Away Renee” and “Where Is the Love,” has released nine studio albums since 1992—the latest one being “California Dreaming” in 2017.
Joining the 57-year-old recording artist on the said dates are local singers Joey Generoso, former frontman of Side A, and Jinky Vidal, former lead vocalist of Freestyle.—ALLAN POLICARPIO
