A new year, a new look for Alas Abrenica.
The 1-year-old son of actors Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla got a fresh new start by sporting a buzzcut, as seen in his parents’ respective Instagram posts on Monday, Jan. 7.
Aljur shared he sat down with his little boy, who marked the milestone with his first haircut. Someone then snips Alas’ curly locks, while Kylie collects the fallen hair.
Throughout the process, Alas looked through the mirror, perhaps amazed that his curly hair would be gone.
Meanwhile, his mom showed off the result—with Alas now having a buzzcut. She even got sentimental about his milestone, saying: “Boy hood. I didn’t know how to feel but I was happy I was there to witness my baby boy’s first haircut.”
“Obviously he was just his same curious self,” she described her son while he had his hair being shaved off. “Kami yung naiyak hindi sya eh (We were the ones who cried, not him). Lol.”
Some fans expressed how good the tot looked with his new hair, with one amazed how Alas behaved during the whole haircut process.
