THREE Filipino films, products of last year’s Cinemalaya, will be screened at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, running from March 8 to 18. The fest website calls Adolfo Alix Jr.’s “Isda” “a delightful realist fable”; Eduardo Roy’s “Bahay Bata” a “powerful, overwhelmingly female world”; and Marlon Rivera’s “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank” a “witty, bitchy” satire.
