Rita Ora
As part of her upcoming “Phoenix” world tour, pop star Rita Ora will make a stop in Manila for the first time to hold a concert on Mar. 10 at the New Frontier Theater, according to local promoter Wilbros Live.
The British singer-songwriter’s latest series of shows will be in support of her second studio album of the same title, which includes the lead single “Your Song,” which has so far amassed more than 383 million streams on Spotify alone (call 9115555).
Known for pop-dance music, Rita followed up with four more well-received songs, including “Lonely Together” with Avicii; the hit track “Anywhere” and the pop-hip-hop tune “Girls,” for which she collaborated with Cardi B, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX.
Rita also dabbles in acting, most prominently for playing Christian Grey’s younger sister in the “Fifty Shades” erotic drama series.—ALLAN POLICARPIO
