Actress Sunshine Cruz and her boyfriend businessman Macky Mathay started 2019 on a high note by exchanging words of love for each other.
Cruz expressed her gratefulness and appreciation for her beau via Instagram on New Year’s Day. Sharing with her fans adorable photos of them sitting on the stairs while wearing matching sneakers, Cruz did not hold back in saying what she feels.
“To you who I share the same passion for sneakers, food, fitness, music, movies and love for family, thank you for being there for me and my princesses,” she said. “Know that we truly appreciate you.”
“You are a wonderful person and I often wonder what I have done to deserve someone like you,” she added. “Happy New Year my Macky. Let’s continue to support each [others’] dreams this 2019.”
Mathay likewise penned a heartwarming letter for Cruz on the first day of 2019.
“I am so blessed to have you, someone who knows me totally and accepts me for who I am and not for any other reason,” Mathay said. “I would want nothing more than to be able [to] spend the rest of my days with you.”
“To my Sunshine, He definitely blessed my life when He made you a part of it!” he stated.
Mathay also shared on the same platform on Dec. 30 his reply to Cruz’s Dec. 29 Facebook post. Cruz thanked Mathay and wondered what she did to deserve him.
“Just would like to let you know My Sunshine that that is exactly the same way that I feel and never does a day go by without myself thinking so,” was Mathay’s kilig-worthy reply.
Cruz’s petition for the annulment of her marriage to Cesar Montano with whom she has three daughters was granted last year. Meanwhile, Mathay has three children, two sons and one daughter, with his ex-wife Camille Fariñas. JB
