MANILA, Philippines — Actor Gerald Anderson has captured his mother’s priceless reaction as he gifted her jewelry for Christmas.
In a video posted on his Instagram account on Sunday, Anderson pranked his mom, Evangeline Opsima, by saying their house was being robbed.
Her mother then rushed to their dining area and lo and behold — sets of jewelry were laid on their table.
Opisma was shocked when she saw her son’s grandiose gifts, then asked “Is that real? Totoo ba ‘to?”
“Matagal ngrerequest mama ko ng customized jewelery. Meron siyang style na gusto talaga niya mula nung bata pa lang kami pero di namin afford nung bata pa ako,” Anderson wrote in the caption.
In the latter part of the video, Anderson gave in to his mom’s request and gave her personalized jewelry.
The 29-year-old actor said, “Just giving back for the 9 months dala dala niya ako sa tiyan niya.”/lb
