MANILA, Philippines – Actress Sarah Lahbati on Tuesday shared on social media the terror she felt when she learned about the horrifying drowning incident involving her mother in Siargao Island.

“My mom is in Siargao, she drowned and vomited blood. Please, please, send help and prayer if you are in Siargao,” she said.

According to Lahbati, her mother has been taking swimming lessons “and has been good at it but we cannot fight mother nature. The currents were too strong and she drowned.”

Lahbati then said her mother was already conscious and resting after receiving medical treatment in the hospital.
