MANILA, Philippines — All eyes were on Catriona Gray when she made her first walk as the Miss Universe 2018.
But the focus wasn’t only on her Mayon Volcano-inspired gown and the famed Mikimoto crown as many also noticed her iconic ear cuff.
With her side swept hair, Gray wore her “patriotic” ear cuff from when she joined Binibining Pilipinas in March this year.
On her ear was the Tessera Jewelry “Alab at Dangal patriotic cuff” designed with three stars and a sun designed by Gray herself.
The signature earring was made “of gold, studded with diamonds and rubies with golden south sea pearls,” said the brand in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
With Gray’s love for putting symbols in her outfits, she also donned a pair of dangling earrings which had a sun and three golden pearls during the pageant’s preliminaries.
According to Tessera Jewelry, Gray designed the same earrings called “Pearl of the Orient/Perlas ng Silanganan.” /muf
