MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso star Yasmien Kurdi couldn’t help but feel excited as she announced her forthcoming graduation in 2019.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the 29-year-old actress shared the news of her milestone: “Finally! Malapit na ko gumradweyt.”
It wasn’t easy for Kurdi as she had to balance her studies and work: “Sa tinagal tagal ko sa kolehiyo, sa lahat ng hirap… puyat na pinagdaanan ko sa buhay para lang makapagaral habang nagtatrabaho para itaguyod ang aking pamilya.”
Nonetheless, everything was worth it because she’s finally getting the diploma that her mother had always dreamed of.
She said: “Matutupad na ang matagal ng pinapangarap ko at ng aking nanay. Mama! Malapit na pooo. Pasensya na at na late ako…”
The Kapuso actress also expressed excitement for her graduation saying: “Sobrang excited na talaga ako pag naiisip ko na malapit nako mag marcha.”
Kurdi will be graduating from the Arellano University with a degree on Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, according to a photo she shared via an Instagram story on Monday.

She is set to have her graduation march in April 2019 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). /jpv
