MANILA, Philippines — Actor Albert Martinez’s youngest daughter Alissa Martinez is now engaged to boyfriend Paulus Reyes.
Alissa was ecstatic to announce the news on Monday in an Instagram post captioned: “I love you so much @paulusreyes. I can’t wait to spend forever with you!!!”
“Literally this has been the happiest I’ve ever been,” Alissa said in a separate post where she posed embracing her husband-to-be.
Meanwhile, Albert couldn’t help but become emotional with the engagement of his youngest daughter.
“Tears of joy… I look at you and do not see the passage of time,” Albert wrote Monday in an Instagram post.
Albert said he still sees Alissa as his “little girl playing dress up, running through the yard, running around with the dogs, hugging your mama all day long.”
He acknowledged that Alissa is older now and that the decisions she makes are her own, but remained: “You must understand that to me, you will always be my little girl.”
“I may not be able to carry you in my arms anymore, but I will always carry you in my heart. I love you my princess,” the actor added.
Alissa is among Albert’s children with the late actress Liezl Martinez alongside Alfonso and Alyanna. /muf
