Why the Yuletide season reminds Rayver of his late dad

Actor Rayver Cruz is especially busy these days taping for his drama series, “Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko,” that he hasn’t quite decided how he’d spend the holidays.

But, he proffers one possibility.

“I’d like to go abroad, maybe visit the US,” he told the Inquirer. “Because I don’t want to waste my visa (laughs).”

The season actually brings back cherished memories of his late dad, Rayver said.

“Every Christmas was memorable, [especially] the last celebration I was with Papa. Noche Buena after church, family time—no work,” he recounted.—OLIVER PULUMBARIT
