Early holiday break for Kris Bernal

Actress-entrepreneur Kris Bernal took a two-week vacation to visit her sister, a nurse in Los Angeles. She told the Inquirer that her break from work will be until this weekend.

That, Kris said, will be her Christmas celebration this year. “I’ll be spending time with family, so [it’s like an early Christmas treat for me],” she said.

The “Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko” actress tried to recall her fondest Christmas memory: “I can’t remember one particular instance but [spending it with family is always special]. The family just got together and ate. It’s like a regular celebration. And it was a time away from work.”—OLIVER PULUMBARIT
