How do you express your thanks to the one and only Jeff Goldblum? James Corden did it by singing to the tune of Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next.”
The television host sang his love for the actor in a parody of the pop star’s latest single, as seen in a segment of “The Late Late Show” aired Wednesday night.
Corden sang about the actor’s numerous roles, such as Ian Malcolm from “Jurassic Park” and the Grandmaster in “Thor: Ragnarok.” He even had a “burn book” showing numerous photos of Goldblum having messages of love for him.
The host also sang about Goldblum being “a silver fox with black thick-rimmed glasses” and his skill of playing jazz on piano. Not hiding his bias for the actor, Corden declared he would “forget the rest” when it comes to the previous guests he had on the show.
Goldblum could not believe that Corden got out his way to make a song about him, and even asked about the book. Corden, looking excited, hurriedly got out of the room to get the book.
The tune was so catchy that even Grande herself was crazy over Corden’s cover. “omg…… may i please….. please for christmas have the thank u, jeff book? it’s for a friend. promise,” the pop star jokingly wrote on Twitter.
