LOOK: Parody social media page spoofs Bong Revilla’s TV comeback after acquittal

MANILA, Philippines — Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla’s acquittal from plunder cases in relation to the “Pork Barrel Scam” has prompted a parody social media page to spoof his television comeback.

“Malacañang Events and Catering Services” announced Friday the return of Revilla’s show “Kap’s Amazing Stories.”

The parody social media page wrote: “Na-miss niyo ba ‘to? Magbabalik na ang Kap’s Amazing Stories sa TV, featuring 16 million ways to get away with plunder!”

“Kap’s Amazing Stories” is an informative show broadcasted by GMA Network and hosted by the former senator that ended in 2014.

Sandiganbayan First Division on Friday acquitted Revilla who was accused of amassing P224.5 million from his Priority Development Assistance Fund or “pork barrel” through non-government organizations linked to Janet Lim-Napoles.

Revilla has been detained at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City since 2014.
